[slideshow_deploy id=’171′]With a forecast of some heavy rain ahead of us we were anticipating a mixed weekend at Rednal.

We had a dry practice on Friday with Dan and Osian liking the technical track and going well in their classes.

Qualifying Saturday on a track that was like glass in wet conditions, Dan put it on pole but the rain brought problems for him and he high sided in his final session.  Osian had a great day also managing to put the mini on pole and coping well with the changeable weather.

Race day was destined to be similar with a day of sunshine and showers.  Osian’s class was first to race and he began as he was destined to continue, in race 1 he had a 21 second lead and race 3 was a nail biting contest with Osian and Oscar Pinson in a great battle.  Now leading the championship Osh is in a strong position for the next round at Rowrah.

Dan’s class was the last race and with the ‘will it won’t it’ tyre choice a big issue. With a second in his first race and 4th in his second Dan was finding the conditions difficult. In the final race which was last of the day wets were looking like the wrong choice for him and Max Cooke but with spots on the visor towards the end of the race it seemed they were gaining on the leading riders, unfortunately things were against them again as the race was stopped short because of the rain. That’s racing!!
